well, i ended up in the neighborhood and did a little searching. the place is a little hidden, just south of Lay-Z-Boy furniture, same side, north bound. Just south of Wisper Lakes and OBT intersection.

It is just north of the large warehouse building with the gymnastics sign out front. the address on the front building is 11757 S. OBT, they are behind this building. But you will have to look close, so far the only lettering is on the door.

so i finally found it, i got theopportunity to look inside because they were still not open. The setup is really looking great. Alot of thought is going into this place and it's showing.

Victor and partners and friends showed me around the place, described what is coming and showed off some nice toys!unfortunately there was nothings to buy, i was looking to see they great corals that were posted earlier.

Well, Victor told me opening day will be July15th! Can't wait to see what corals he brings out of hiding! he says you won't be disappointed!

this is the info off the business card

World Wide Corals
11765 S Orange Blossom Trail, Suite D
Orlando, Fl 32837
407-856-2066

for the record, i do not work for or with this store, just a reef keeper looking for a place for great corals and prices. And this one is 6 miles from my work!

Wow so they open two days after I move into my new apartment and set up my new tank. Awesome, another lfs for some more stocking selection :)

Are these the same folks who used to be in the shopping center on Whisper Lakes with the dog groomers?

WORLD WIDE CORALS

WORLD WIDE CORALS

This is the information about the new store opening up soon. It was scheduled to open July 1st, but has been pushed back to July 15th. It will sell exotic coral colonies and frags as well as dry goods, and maybe inverts. There will be no fish for sale(at least not at first). There will be a really great grand opening sale well worth checking out.

The address is:

World Wide Corals
11765 suite D South O.B.T
Orlando, FL (I don't know th zipcode)

It is on S. Orange blossom Trail, south of the 528. If you travel south on O.B.T. from the 528/O.B.T. intersection. It is a few miles south, just after Whisper Lakes Rd. It is back behind other store fronts and may be hard to find.

If you take your first left turn lane south of whisper lakes on O.B.T. and pass the stores that are on the road front, you will take the 1st or 2nd drive on the right and the store will be on the left. There is a sign on the door.

Juicy, thanks for the info, but most was in the original post, including the zip. The last thread got blocked for too much info, so please watch what is posted this time!

lusenut2 - Sunday seemed like a weird day to me too, but the sooner, the better right!

With all the "backdoor" pub that goes on here on this board I think that Victor and his fellas can get some store info out without getting the plug (so to speak) pulled. All the rest of the new stores have gotten their info out before opening up. He sounds like he is going to have some cool oddball frags and such - it's good to let people know that.

well, i got another look today. this time grabbed a couple pictures.
still getting shelves up and loaded.

don't bother asking for stuff out of this tank! they might have frags for sale in the back if your lucky!

then these tanks are (as of today) STOCKED for all the zoa and paly lovers out there (minus 2 frags!). I can't remember all the names he was pointing out. some frags were $8 a rock and up and up and up! there are some that i have seen posted for close to $100 a polyp. I am not quoting his prices to me, but you will be shocked! they are smaller frags, but much more affordable to get the rare stuff! there are planty of colonies too.

there are much more than zoas in these tanks, some SPS (minus one!), LPS, softies, little bit of everything! he says EVERYTHING in them is for sale, wild looking orange high lighted mushrooms, acans, a very cool pink blasto - sorry i can't remember all the names he was pointing out!

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s289/ben-stang/backtofront.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

he says they are still loading the tanks, just got 4 more tanks in today.

2 large RO storage tanks with digital readout so you can see they water you are getting.

We just got back from checking the place out. By far the best selection of coral I've ever seen in person. As promised the prices were super cheep too. I picked up some high-end palys that go for $40-50 a head for $10 a head. Also, it's a huge bonus that it's only 5 miles from my house.

Also, they're doing a deal if you spend $50 or more, you'll get a raffle ticket for $300 cash. The drawing is Tuesday I think they said.
