Yeah that's crazy. Hopefully they dont' taste good otherwise they'll be extinct soon and only place you'll see them is in Asian fish markets.

Steven in the article it say the animal was found at a depth of 7,540 feet. Given that I"d say it is highly unlikely that it would be fished for food.

It is also a squat lobster which is related more to hermit crabs than lobster, so no fear of them getting eaten by humans anytime soon. I hope...
