New leather coral polyps not extending

I got a new leather coral last week, and so far I haven't seen it extend it's polyps. I've tried different placements and nothing seems to have done the trick yet. All my other corals are doing great. Does it sometimes take a week or so for them to adjust to the new tank?

Yeah mine were closed up for a week or so when I first bought them. Even now one or two will close up and slime over for a week. Normal behavior.

I got a large tyree toadstool that took almost a month to fully acclimate. Try to find a spot that seems good and not move it around too much.

Right now, I have it in a spot with some pretty good flow in the bottom 1/3 of the tank. I'm going to leave it here and see what happens. I've seen 2 or 3 polyps extending, so far.

Any updates??

When I first got my leather, It took about 2-3 days, to fully open. I keep mine, almost dead center of the tank, with flow coming from 2 different directions. My powerheads are set at 15 minute intervals. They love the movement.

I also have them about 14" down from my 6 bank of T5's. This pic is just with 2 T5's on in the am...2 Blue Plus

I've had them take over two weeks to open. Give it time. the more you mess with it the more you **** it off
