set up my new 24g nano last wk w/ 10 lbs fiji rock,a lot of hairy greenish stuff growing on it, a lot of stain/brownish spot on the sands.what are h\these

welcome to the world of tank cycling....you will experience various colored algae throughout your cycle period....its normal. Increase in water flow helps

ya.... just wait for all of these algaes and diatoms to die off. put some snails and crabs in to help kill it off. after your algae cycle is over, add the fish and inverts.
