Okay here is one pic of the octo that's causing all this bother for me. it is a tricky ceph to capture on camera so, I will be able to add pics as time goes on.......
that looks like my mercatoris except its suckers are a little more defined and its legs are thicker where the connect to the body. That picture looks most like digueti to me. But I dont know what features to look at for identifying octos, my opinions are just based on overall apearance.
Well, it does and then it doesnt, might not even be a described species at all! I just cant find an exact match..... here's where I moan about needing a ceph ID key again!
Okay, I'm kinda going with O. bocki. in Norman's book it mentions a green iridescent look on its skin, it has that too.....
I sent Roy an email just te other day. He reckoned that it looked a bit like bocki but not quite. There are a lot of similar species of dwarves, many undescribed so it may just be an undescribed species.
