New pair of clownfish Pictures included

Just picked up this nice pair of clownfish earlier today.

The female is about 2.5" and the male is 2" or so. They were wild caught.

INCREDIBLE FISH!!!!!!!

Are you sure they are wild caught, though? They look a whole lot like Rod's Onyx. The third bar is missing or misbared, the center bar is more pronounced at the top, and the dorsal fin is black. All are traits found in Rod's Onyx. The odds of finding two wild percs with these same traits are pretty slim.

I guess it really doesn't matter where they came from. They are beautiful fish regardless. You could breed them and start your own clownfish line. You could call them Dingdong Onyx.:lol:

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The previous owner said he has had them for 2 years+ and they came in on a shipment of fish at a LFS he previously worked at. I had the previous LFS verify that but still need to call them back and the previous owner for more specifics about these fish and where they came from. He told me they were NOT rods clownfish but they do look kinda like them.

LOL Thanks for the compliments. I have a few pairs now and am trying my hand at breeding clownfish.
