here's some updated pics. got her before christmas last year, and still going strong. in my reef tank with other fish, and not so gentle current.

she's sooo pretty... how hard to care for seahorses? Hubby says that after summer if I'm still heartbroken over giving up my tank that he'll get me a sea-horse tank ....... we had a few at the store years ago but they never seemed to last very long

i'm just surprised how well she has done since she is competing with fish for food, a stronger current and is a full to near full grown adult, that came from the wild and was eating frozen mysis in 3 days.

they aren't the same

what i have is the Lined seahorse. Hippocampus erectus. which doesn't look much like the pics i have in the only book i have
