got my first Rico today, i dipped it in R/O water for about 2 minutes. Added it with the lights out (light are still out to fight a brown algae breakout. It looks shribbled up. Did I do something wrong? How long before it will open up after the lights are back on?

I dont do freshwater dips, lots of unneeded stress. I use water from the tank with seachem coral disinfectant mixed in.

i have not seen many infected ricordea, actuall I have never seen one. I have put every one in my tank without quarntine and they are all fine. everyone dips things in water, I wonder what would happen if we dip them in beer?
