Do you have anything in your tank?

If not I would wash off anything that smells or looks dead. Then just put it in the tank and your tank will cycle.

Im amazed they are sending rock out again finally :)

They have had a terrible string of bad weather and other issues keeping them from collecting rock for the last 8-10months.

Anything you should know? Well, you are getting some awesome rock! I got some of their coral rock a couple of weeks ago and it had all kinds of bonus critters in it. 3 starfish, several crabs, some kind of goby, anenomes, feather dusters, worms, and a mantis shrimp. He's found a new home today. There will be little die off if you have already cycled your tank. But still do some water changes a couple of times a week at first and make sure you have a skimmer going. Also, keep in mind that the water temperature of Tampa Bay is in the high 60's right now so if your tank is 78-80 this might be a bit of a shock. I keep mine at 74 and I don't think I had any die off except for a sponge.

I see now you have a new tank. Are you doing the package? I wish I had. I added the coral rock after my tank was 7 weeks old which is pushing it a bit but my bio load is pretty low. I think their package is the way to go, that will be my next tank's plan.

Just have New SW, everything operating, 6" DSB of cc in tank,3"DSB in refugium. But no life, will cycle with LR & LS. Yes i did buy "The Package". It seems like the best way to go. After it cycles with the second shipment I plan to seed bed with something from IA or ISP.

You will be amazed at the life you will get from their package. Don't buy any critters until you see what all you get. It's pretty amazing.
