New tank ideas wanted

Hi all I am planning a 220 gal tank that will house a Yellow head eel first off what could I stock with him? and would a reef be ok? please advise I do have some time to play with and I would like some ideas.Would a Lion fish be ok with the eel?

Is that the animal you mean? In general, the eel and the lionfish will be compatible as long as the eel is outside the lionfish's prey range when you get it.

kruzzenkidd....i am sure you read the last part about what you can put them with....says that they may bite at a lionfish and die....

Yea I read that after I posted anyway please post some ideas for a 220 gal tank I was thinking of a reef set-up and some reef fish that can and will live beside a yellow head moray eel and not be dinner

if you wanna do a reef then do it and just keep it with a few tangs and maybe a grouper but no shrimp, crabs etc and put in a few corals with a very efficient skimmer and away you go

That fish sounds very aggressive, having attacked some fully grown tangs. I don't think I'd keep it in a tank with other fish, but it might work.
