New Toadstool won't open...

Hey guys....

About a week ago, i bought a new toadstool for my clowns to host in. i have a 29g cube, with PC lighting, and ambiant MH lighting that also lights the tank a little. When i bought it, it was out and big ( close to 6"), and the first day I put it in my tank, it was open. now it won't open at all, but i think it is still alive, judging by its color and how it looks. The clowns are hositng in it, but they were also hosting in it whenit was open. anyone know why it won't open up?

Could you post a pic? More info would be good also. What are your water paramenters? It probably just needs time to adjust both to your tank and to the clowns. Most leathers go through periods where they remain closed to shedd but sometimes for no apparent reason.

Sorry, no pics for a few days atleast. The tank is at my showroom. The water parems are all in check for a mixed reef.

hopefully it will start to come out onc eit gets adjusted.

yea give it sometime to adjust. my captive toadstool sometime the polyps dont even open for weeks but as long as it dont bend downward than you're find.

alright....the toadstool isn't bending downward....
