I have a 90 cube with
-lineatus male
-rhomboid male
-divided leopard female
-potters wrasse
-blue spoted jaw fish
-diamond gobie
-hectors gobie

I would like to add another wrasse or two. What would you suggest?
it is a wrasse/sps tank
I was thinking
-flame
-?

Thanks

That is a fantastic stock list from a "beauty" perspective. If you like that kind of thing. :)

Flames are gorgeous. I don't know about compatibility.

I would say a canary wrasse (H. chrysus). Incredible yellow. And a pest eater. Very peaceful.

I am absolutely in love with my Red Parrot Fairy Wrasse. Kinda hard to find. I got mine from my LFS who had him labeled as just a "flasher wrasse." Glad I went with my gut and picked him up when I saw him.

Either a melarnus or yellow coris wrasse both are very pretty and do wonders at eating little flatworms and bugs.

Thanks for the come backs. I will start doing some research on those suggestions. It needs to be peaceful and not get too big and I am looking for a different color from what I have.

I would say flame. Although, I did just pick up a girdled fairy too and pictures do not do that fish justice, he's a beauty. I have a pic on the last page of my build thread.

even though this is one of my fav wrasse's i would say no to it because of the others you have, not that they would fight but being you have 2 pickers in there already they will clean your pod population out quickly, even if eating prepared foods, they hunt all day long.
If you can find one look for a redsea 8 line flasher { good luck on finding } love my flames also but why not look for females for your current lineatus male-rhomboid male

I had a melanuras. Nice wrasse but he kept taking out my snails so I caught him and took him to the fish store. I was wondering if a canary wrasse would do the same. That is an idea of getting females for the lineatus and rhomboid. I was just thinking of different kinds of fish but if they interacted it could be very nice. The leopards do pick all day long. But both eat mysis and the potters eats pellets.

Thanks for the input

The canary could take some of your cud when mature, but anecdotal information suggests the canary is significantly better in that regard. And it's smaller too.
