Nitrate Test Kit Recommendation

Hello,

I was hoping you could recommend a Nitrate test kit that is easy to read. I have the API kit now, but it is very hard to differentiate between 0, 5, and 10ppm. What do you think of the Red Sea Nitrate kit -- from the picture it looks like the colors are easier to differentiate between? How about the Seachem Nitrate kit? There wasn't a picture of the color chart in your catalog or on your website. Any suggestions for any other brands?

Thank you for your inquiry. Many of the nitrate testing kits we carry use very similar color indicators to show testing results. To help ensure an accurate reading, we recommend applying drips to your sample with the solution bottle pointing directly downwards. This will provide uniform measurements and allow the solution to change to a proper coloration. When comparing the color charts, it is also recommended to place the sample in front of a white background under a good light source.
