Nitrates in KENT's sea salt mix.

Let's start from the beginning. First I purchased a 200 gal bucket of KENTS sea salt mix. I always make it a habit to test every new bucket I get. It tested fine for calcium but the dkh was nearly nothing. I called the folks at KENT and they told me to throw it away and they sent me another bucket. When I received the new bucket of salt I tested that and now have nitrates in it. What's up!

My Ro water has 0 nitrates. Then when I mix it up it shows around 3-5 on a Salifert test kit.
