So I picked this up quite a while ago and I cannot for the life of me remember what it is. I don't know if it is a softy or LPS or SPS. It does glow green under actinics. I have never see it polyp out but it is growing. So far it has done well anywhere it is placed. Thankyou in advance for any help and or speculation.

Those look like palythoas. You say you've never seen them open up? That sounds very strange, I'm surprised they've been growing at all?

I have lots of Paly's these are not Paly's. They are just tube looking things that have a hole in the end. They are pretty stiff, never get polyps, and grow pretty decent albeit slow. And they will grow where ever I put them.

Right on! Guess I am going to have to watch them carefully and see if they polyp out in the dark. Just because I haven't seen them do it doesn't mean they don't. I have had them about a year or so. Total thanks!

yep, isaurus sp. opens at night... if you get a night shot of them open, please post a pic :)
