No more fish from Hawaii

yup.. was talking with Jayson about it. they will need a few years for the environment study. then a few years to decide.. then a few more to implement new rules..

but Hawaii does need some major changes. the reefs are completely destroyed

Not from our hobby, from agricultural runoff and from tourists ..... both of which make them wayyyy too much money.

yellow tang is going to be 5x more expensive and will be considered super rare

YT is already captive bred and prices have dropped tremendously..

now Black tang... that will be the new gem

Flame wrasse going back to $300 or more probably..

Captive bred won't be able to keep up with the demand, so those will increase tremendously.

Flame wrasses easily will hit $600-$700 a pair. Just image in a year, when wholesalers and retailers aren't selling existing stock and there isn't anything to sell.

Kole Tangs are already over $100. Potters Angel are close to $200. It's insane. And people will pay, remember people paying $500 for torches from indo that were $50.

And it begins!
