noisy 2002

I have a 2002 that will refuse to quiet down .It has been dismantled cleaned ,oiled and still no help .Would a repair kit remedy this?It is hard to describe the noise .The pump has had 1.5 years of use with no problems whatsoever; Which says alot to me ,in the quality of this powerhead .Just thought I'd be able to keep it running a few more years instead of buying a new one .

You need new bearings, you cannot oil it. The bearings are permanently lubricated with grease and oil usual makes it worse. The bearings should last 2-3 years but if some salt creep got in they are ruined. I can sell you every part in their. My best suggestion is you send it to me and I will thoroughly overhall it. My average bill for this work is $50 and it will come back like new. I charge $15 flat labor and cleaning fees. Then just parts, Bearings are $18 you may need a new shaft set or likely at least a pinion and spring. Contact me by email and we will get you squared away. With few exceptions I turn around a 2002 in 24 hours and if need be I can send it next day.

That sounds like great news .I did start chkn old threads and saw oil is a no-no .I don't need a quick rush on getting it fixed ,tank is broken down ( closing on a new house in a few weeks ) I will try to get the pump in the mail but to where ? I am assuming you want me to use a money order for the repairs ? Who do I make this out to ? You sure are quick to reply .
