Not a good Monday so far...

Well it looks like my buddy in crime Pascal has found a possible cause. My pump for the TLF 150 has a thrashed wire. The pump still worked but the exposed wire was in the sump. I had also found in the archives and complete similar outcome other than the bulb in the water.

What does everyone else think?

Figure worst case I put about 1/2 gallon of your water into my tank (one bag hit something and poked a hole, about 2 cups putting in the starfish)

The tank was very cloudy this morning which I believe is are the engineering gobies digging. The mushrooms, torch and frogspawn looked stressed all day. I did a 15 gallon water change and will do another tomorrow.

I just checked the tank and some of the frogspawn is fully retracted which I haven't seen since I first put them in. I will say the clown fish is very rough on this particular frogspawn.

I have your liverock in a holding tank and still have some of your water (partly mixed with mine from drip acclimation). I ordered the API copper kit and will let you know the results.

whatever is in that water is lethal!

Well the water is all gone now. Please keep me updated Pascal. I hope everything continues to get in better shape. Have you seen your frogspawn "poop" yet? They retract for a day or two and then squeeze out this ugly brown gunk. Within another day or two they usually fully open up. Hopefully that is your case.

I can't imagine that little water compared to 70+ gallons could do significant damage. I'll keep on eye on them and see how things unfold.
