Not sure if it is ich

My tank has been fallow for close to six weeks due to an unkown cause of death to my fish. I decided to keep it fishless for a while just in case the cause of death was ich. My crabs, snail, feather dusters and cleaner shrimp were all fine so I left them in there.

Yesterday I decided to add a true percula clown in. The LFS had him for a while, he looked very healthy, energetic, bright in color and was eating well so I decided to add him to the tank. The water perimeters were all good. Tonight I noticed a small raised white bump on his left side. I don't see any others just the one. It kind of looks like it is under the skin.

Should I take him out right now and treat him or leave him in to see what happens. Would a freshwater dip do him any good or will it just stress him out and weaken his immune system further?

Any advice would be appreciated...

May not be a case of ich, coud be another unidentified parasite in your system. IMO a freshwater dip only further traumatizes the fish. If you didn't have inverts I would suggest hyposalinity (dropping salinity to 1.018) to kill off ich. At this point start dosing his food with Garlic(Kent GArlic Xtreme) or Selcon to help boost his immune system. Maybe even add some Vit C. Good Luck

My clown I also added today has like 4 little white specs. He didnt have anything at the pet store where hes been for over a month, but after say 6 hours in my tank I noticed them???
