My tank has been fallow for close to six weeks due to an unkown cause of death to my fish. I decided to keep it fishless for a while just in case the cause of death was ich. My crabs, snail, feather dusters and cleaner shrimp were all fine so I left them in there.
Yesterday I decided to add a true percula clown in. The LFS had him for a while, he looked very healthy, energetic, bright in color and was eating well so I decided to add him to the tank. The water perimeters were all good. Tonight I noticed a small raised white bump on his left side. I don't see any others just the one. It kind of looks like it is under the skin.
Should I take him out right now and treat him or leave him in to see what happens. Would a freshwater dip do him any good or will it just stress him out and weaken his immune system further?
Any advice would be appreciated...
