Nylon Rods

I just found out that my work has literally hundreds of thousands of these rods. Firm, yet flexible enough to get creative with. I wanted to use some in a new aquascape. Is there any reason to not use Nylon in a reef tank?

zip ties are very common. i'd make sure and clean it well. plastic mfg often uses petroleum or funky silicone spray to release it from the molds.

Theywork real well these rods. I use them both rod and nylon screws.
