ocean nutrition feeding question

i ordered a couple of ocean nutrition's foods, frozen pygmy angel formula and frozen formula two. i'm not really sure how to use them right though. they have that gel binder on them, so when i try and thaw them they just stay together in chunks. how do you get this stuff to come apart, or do they just expect your fish to eat it like that?

You squish it between your fingers before feeding

I slice it into thin pieces while frozen, and dump it into the tank.

I pre-chew and then spit into tank.

You can also use a vegi clip and attach it to the side of the tank

Actually, Ocean Nutrition makes a feeder for these foods. It is a clip with a cage on it and the fish are supposed to nibble at the food inside the screen throughout the day.

It's good to use the gelled foods. They have an advantage over others, but do consider a wide and varied diet and feeding plan with supplements:
