I know this question may have been asked before- so sorry in advanced..
What are the benefits of a recirulating skimmer over an in sump skimmer. I am thinking of purchasing this skimmer (an octopus skimmer) for a new 120-170 gallon setup- http://www.aquacave.com/reef-octopus-dnw-200-br-recirculatingbr-protein-skimmer-985.html
For reference, i am looking for a quality skimmer, but i am not willing to purchase an extremely expensive skimmer such as a euroreef. Additionally, how are the reviews on h and f skimmer? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
