Odd aptasia removal

This seems odd but hey...it happened in a 10gal nano reef

I had a hitchhiker aptasia on a rock. I was contemplating the different methods of removal last week.

I also happened to buy a new hyrdometer so i tossed it in the tank to season it.

The next morning the aptasia moved from its rocky crevice to the bottom of my hydrometer.

I took it out...it dried out and died.

Who knows why it transfered to the plastic but it happened.

I had some aiptasia and, after going away for a couple of days (tank lights off), it had moved to an exposed position on the top of the rock. Presumably starved of light. It was then an easy lemon juice clean up job.
