aw man rich, i wish i was buying corals at the moment. id get a lot of stuff from you, but i decided to wait until after my sump to buy corals.

oh well, at least the coralife super skimmer is just $90. and from the css thread, seems to be very comparable. many say better, some dont agree.

but even if its close, not too shabby for the price. i guess ill have to go down that route and see how it goes.

I talk with Dan Underwood (RC Hands=DANU) of www.SEAHORSESOURCE.com where I got my seahorses from. He has given me two bottles of his product "Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs" for the club auction. This stuff has a 90% hatch rate with no need to DECAP the eggs (how easy it that). No shells means the stuff is safe to use either to hatch, or as a coral feed. He told me that he sells about 10x as much of this stuff to reefers than seahorse keepers because reefers have told him it is easy to use, their corals like it a lot, and some eggs hatch in the tank for a second live feeding 18 hours later.

I don't want to be a salesman for anybody, but I'd like to offer these two bottles to people who are hatching BBS to see what they think of it and to report back to the club. Iff this OK, I will make the announcement at the next meeting.

I also have two bottles of purple up that I am not using. The club can have these for the auction.

I have some small clusters of sun corals to trade, or for $10. They do need to be fed at least once a week with mysis or other chunky food, preferably more often.

I will also have a greenish/brown BTA or two that is a very cool green under actinics, for trade or $20. False percs host in them (I had a single one that has split a bunch of times and the clowns host in all of them).
