ok i have made a tank switch from a 35 gal tank with no sump to a 75 with a 55 gal custom sump
the switch was made 30 days a go but now i have some questions !
first let me give a run down on what i have .
150 watt mh 2 of them that run for 10 hours
2 59 watt t5 one altenick that runs for 8 hours and one full that runs for 3 hours
and a 4 led moon light kit that runs for 12 hours
2 750 gph hydor power heads and 2 450 gph hooked to a pump controller made by hydor
i have 66 lbs of lr and 80 lbs of ls
in the sump
i have a eppo skimmer rated for 100 gal
1 1350 gph pump for return to the tank
i have 35 lbs of lr in the sump with a mess of co-pods
i have a deep sand bed in the sump with 6 lbs of ls in in that +up-to 7" thick with cheetah in it with a 100 watt 50/50 buld over it
1 250 watt heater from jorgson which is rated for up to a 150 gal tank
and a 1/10 horse power chiller hooked up to the system
what i would like to get a idea on is hooking up a uv from the sump to the chiller
does it sound like a good idea to do ?
all corals in this tank are softies at this point
here are the test results from the last test
ph 8.4
nh3 nh4 .o ppm to .25 ppm
no2 0 ppm
no 3 0 ppm
po3 .0 ppm to .25 ppm
ca was 480
kh was low hard to reed the test
