well, i posted something like this in another forum and got very little input... im hoping someone here can help me....
I was going to get the PFO mini pendant 250 watt HQI DE 10k driven by the icecep ballast to replace my current coralife 150 watt 10k HQI DE pendant. However, i have recently seen a lot of good literature about using the lumenarc reflectors with SE bulbs.... Some of these suggested that the SE bulbs with this reflector would be more intense, and there have more PAR then the DE HQI.
What do you guys think? This is going to be a huge decision for me, because i dont want to have to upgrade again, and i am looking to give my corals the ABSOLUTELY BEST lighting i can.... i only have sps(about 22 frags) and a crocea clam.... i need some help... thanks....
