omega one pellets rics love them ??

ok yesturady i bought some omega one small pellet food for my clownfish. today when i feed the fish some of the pellets sank down to the sand near my FL rics and my rics grabbed them and moved them to there mouth and ate them. would it be ok to feed these to them also? how often should i feed my rics?

you can feed them if you want but its not necessary. i feed mine krill maybe once a week, probably a little less often.

Rics and shrooms will eat anything that lands on them. The reason your seeing them eat is because those pellets sink quiker than flake and they go down instead of blowing in the current so the rics have a better chance of catching them. I feed my shrooms New Life Spectrum marine pellets they are about 1mm in size. My fish wont touch them in that tank but the shrooms eat it.

how often do you feed how many times a week?

Maybe 3 times a month. I dont feed my corals alot of stuff, i feed the fish and i try to let the corals get what they can.
I enjoy not cleaning my glass everyday and when you are trying to feed your fish and spot feed corals and whatever else that might eat, you end up with a excess nutrients and then you battle alge.
