This is how one of my rics reacted when a piece of candy cane coral fell on him:

Once I got the candy cane away from him, he went right back to normal. Those candy canes must pack one heck of a sting.

i've been told that they do.. i have a hrad of candy cane in my zoa/ric tank and i moved it off to the side of the tank, if it falls it hits sand..

That is one of my coolest fish....a psedochromis. Very good natured fish....until another fish tries to steal his food.

Glad to see it back to normal! I had one of mine do somethign funky like that when my cucumber shovelled it over to my cynarina in the middle of the night.
