I just found out that TBS has a minimum charge of 60$ err Fed Ex does. and when im just buying a 9$ Mantis its just not worth it. Anyother good palces to buy em.

saltwaterfish.com occasionally has Peacock Mantis, or so they say they are peacock mantis. If you order $75 with them the fedex shipping is only $4.95. They charge 39.99 for the mantis I saw on there last. It's one of those sites you have to check back often with. You can also email them and request one. I was lucky enough to get a hitchhiker on live rock from my LFS after months of searching...hth

fishsupply.com has peacocks for $24 plus shipping....thats where i got mine from he's about 4.5 inches, they're packaging was great and really good service too.

Nice, I went to the site and am thinking about getting one there. What do u think is the maximum size mantis for a 20g? I have 20lbs of base rock in there too. Where did u get your packag sent to and how much was shipping?

Ok I asked my LFS and he said that last time he went to the wholesaler he saw a small mantis. So, I'm going to have my mantis not this, but next Sunday. I have about a 2-3" sandbed,not live, and about 8lbs of base rock. sounds good? I didnt think i needed to whole 20lbs of base rock, so i put 3 of the rocks in my 72g.what should i start out feeding him/her. I'lll post a pic with correct idnetification when i get her in.
