Open Brain coral worm in sand bed attaching?

Sorry for the repost, but it's still happening. This worm or whatever it is, is now creeping up into the mouth of my coral. Pretty weird. Can I just move it on to rock, or should it be on the sand bed? I have some pics but can't get them off my phone and on here right now, but one of the mouths on the coral looks to be spitting out black stuff, I don't think it likes what's going on. I have 500 watts of MH plus actinic, I don't want to burn the coral bit maybe just moving it higher up?

Got some pics up. The first one is the casing tube that I pulled off. It's weird, kinda like an intestine.

I've had the coral for almost a year, it's always been very healthy, until fairly recently when I started noticing this sand worm thing. The sides where you can see the sand creeping in don't puff up the same any more.

Has anyone else ever seen this?
