Well i unknowingly bought some grape calpera for my refuge, the guy said it was turtle grass. Anyway is this stuff good for nutrient export, also will it go sexual if i dont light it 24/7. thanks, Dan

I use it in several systems. Works well, grows fast, and have never had a problem with it going sexual. I run a 12 hr light scheduale on it as well.

I've read it can but its pretty rare for that type.... it does grow very fast so should pull out alot of nutrients..

If you want to investigate further... grape caulerpa's name is Caulerpa Racemosa....

it will attach itself to any rock it can find, sending runners out, and you won't ever be able to get rid of all of it. it does grow fast.

well its in a seperate refuge, so it shouldnt be a problem - knock on wood
