Ornate Wrasse

I just received an Ornate Wrasse from Vivid Aquarium that is beautiful. He is in my quaranteen tank, but has himself flattened out and against the back wall and floor like he is trying to bury himself in the "sand"- of course, the QT is bare bottomed. Has anyone encountered difficulties QT'ing these Wrasses in a bare-bottom tank?

Is it the Ornate Leopard wrasse? It would do best if it had a sand bed to bury in. They bury at night and when frightened.

A simple plastic container of ample size with some sand in it can be used.
