OT: 4/29 Paintball.... anyone interested??

Ok. So we said we'd be going again and it looks like we're going to "shoot" for Sunday 4/29 to play paintball at Paintball Explosion in Dundee. Its at the old Santa's Village. pbbomb.com is the website for more information.

We were able to find a groupon deal. Scheduling it a month out gives people a chance to plan. JJ... you sounded interested the last time I planned one, Krunchy and others interested as well just didn't have the time.

We currently have at least 6 people playing. I think it would be fun to get a bigger group.

cost depends on what you need. if you have your own gear, you just have to buy paint and entry. like them on facebook and you can get a coupon for free entry. check groupon to see if they have a current deal.

we picked up one a week or so ago....
$30 for 2 entry, 2 rental packages (base), 500 balls to share.

Nice! I'm thinking I'm going to keep this one less expensive than in the past. I'm going to do mostly softies, rics, zoas/palys and maybe a couple lower light sps. I am still trying to figure out lighting. I want to do LEDs but I don't want to spend $4-500 on one. I'm taking t slow as my budget allows. Racing motorcycles is not cheap.

I recently purchased a Solana 34, too. Hoping to upgrade to a Kessil a150 LED at some point -- cost is around $260.

Thats what i paid for the tank, stand and tunze skimmer, lol! I know, lights are expensive. I would just throw a 400 over it like beefy would suggest but I don't want my power bill to go up and I am not going to run a chiller.

I went there yesterday and had a blast. I'm down for the 29th, I also might have some friends who want to tag along. If we get up to ten people we can make a private party. Is that something anybody is interested in?
