I need to learn the basics of Adobe Illustrator quick. Anyone know where to get a trial version or does anyone have a copy for Mac that I can borrow?

If I'm not mistaken you can download a 60 day trial from Adobe directly. Good luck -- it's not the most intuitive software.

Thanx Paco. I found it there. Its a big DL. 1.44 GB.

I hope its not too hard. I just need to learn how to create the pages for training book.

It's not terribly hard, just know it's not like Photoshop and once you stop trying to get it to work like Photoshop, you're golden.

Full solidworks install was about 7.75GB:eek2:

im sure there are alot of programs even bigger than that!

Why would you use Illustrator to create content pages for a training book? Depending on your requirements, Indesign would probably be a better choice.

Heck, you may even want to try Publisher or Word, terrible programs for those of us in the graphics arts world, but way more intuitive for a novice.

If you want, PM me exactly what you are trying to accomplish, I can probably steer you in the best direction. I own a print shop and have been in the business for over 17 years.
