Reason I ask is my wife gets free lactaid (long story due to baby is lactose intolerate and my wife breast feeds) ... but she doesn't drink that much, so we are starting to back up on this stuff. I do not want it to go to waste. So if someone could use it please let me know...

lactaid lasts in the fridge longer than regular milk. I've had it in the fridge for like 2 months without it going bad. not sure why.

As per thier website: 2% milk that's packed with high-quality protein, vitamins A & D and calcium, but with almost 40% less fat than whole milk - and, of course, no lactose.

LACTAID® Milk is real, wholesome, farm-fresh milk that's 100% lactose free. It tastes great and it's full of high-quality protein, vitamins A and D and calcium. We add a natural enzyme that breaks down the lactose into two simple sugars, glucose and galactose, that are easy to digest. That means you can drink a tall cold glass, pour it on your cereal, add it to your coffee or tea, or use it in your favorite recipes without discomfort. And LACTAID® Milk comes from cows that have not been treated with artificial growth hormone (rBST)*.

*No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST-treated and non-rBST treated cows.

You'll find LACTAID® Milk in the dairy section of your favorite supermarket in Fat Free, Low Fat, Reduced Fat, Whole and Calcium-Fortified varieties.
