the new thimble peak chair and the upgrade of the backside chair to a high speed quad wont be for a couple seasons. the new red cliffs chair also looks interesting. seems like a strange location, but should get lots of afternoon sun.
so glad they started off with the surface tows, since they really access most of the new terrain.
sounds like a good class you took. your totally right, being in any part of an avalanche is nerve racking. its amazing how the brain just shuts down in those high stress situations and you forget all the stuff you know.
we ride pretty safe, generally. i dont carry anything at the resorts. they dont usually let you go out back until the conditions are safe. plus, where do i put my beers? i do carry that stuff if the situation requires, unfortunately, its been a while since i needed it.
