OT: Dog needs a home

Hey Everyone... I'm trying to find a home for a 1.5yr old Austrailian Shep. mix. She is good with dogs and cats. I already have four dogs...so I cannot keep her.

My neighbor dumped her at animal control after she and her boyfriend split up...I found out yesterday and went up there and adopted her...because Clay Animal control doesn't have a high adoption rate and couldn't bring myself to chance her getting put down. I've officially adopted her..and will be getting her after they make an appoinment to bring her up to date on her rabies shots.

If anyone might be interested... feel free to PM me for more information. She is an absolutely fantastic dog....when she was my neighbors she came to my house almost every nite to play with my dogs.....and never caused any problems.

We aren't sure. She has a new home at Ikaria's though she has been settling in nicely there!!!!

That's what we've been trying to figure out. We are thinking along the lines of a collie.

Her eyes kinda look like husky, I am so glad she got a great home nice save, the pound is such a horrible place!! Good news is the Humane Society became a no kill shelter now

It's hard to see in the picture, but she has a long narrow build. Her eyes are brown, but have a white area in the iris, that makes them look blue outdoors.

My daughter thinks she looks wolfish! LOL!

Jax Humane is non kill now..thank goodness...but my neighbor took her to Clay Animal Control...which isn't...thats why I went and got her and was looking myself.

They didn't even have her name down there....I couldn't understand why they couldn't keep that info....
