OT: Petsmart

Several months ago I signed up for a Petsmart email newsletter. So far I have received a $5 coupon each month. Today I got a $10 dollar coupon off if you spend > $40. I spend that on dog food each month so I am one happy camper with them. I am a member of their petperks also.

I can't remember if I posted this on this forum before or not but it bears repeating. I love coupons!

Does petsmart carry SW stuff?!...

Not a lot and no one knows anything about salt water aquariums.

But they do carry some supplies that come in handy, I buy lot's of ghost shrimp from petsmart, since my bangaii's like to hunt em down.

Would you say that manadrins could eat them? Or are they too big?

On some things they are very different. I just save almost $8 on a 15 watt marine bulb. Their 3 pack of filters was in the store on sale for 9.99, online was 5.89. Edmond store matches the on line prices if you print them out and bring them.

OH they are far to big for a mandarin. But make a nice snack for anyother larger fish that tends to eat on ornamental shrimps. A good size ghost shrimp is very close in size to a peppermint or smaller adult cleaner shrimp. Bangaii's can open their mouths kinda large so they have no trouble eating one.

Petco is the one to watch out for. I was in there the other day and had an episode of deja vue all over again. The kid working there was selling a foxface and it caught in the net. The dummy tried to pick it's spine out of the net. The little cards they have on the tanks had no mention of it being poisonous! That was the second time I've seen that happen.
