Been sitting here at the library for 3 hours now and I'm getting tired so I decided to take a break... Decided to make a thread here to see what everyone is currently listening too! Gives me some new music to listen to while I study! Anything goes!

oh, i don't understand it. but i recognize the song/band. haha. I'm studying Calc 3... extremely boring stuff... and ya, i just bring my headphones and just listen to music to drown out everything else. Being an engineer, i do this a lot so i invested in a nice pair of noise canceling headphones... makes music that much better.

Rush has been around since the early 70s, and are still releasing albums. Be warned- I'm a Rush fanatic, and say, without hesitation, to completely ignore any albums released between 1987-2007(with a few exceptions). They are pretty terrible. The early stuff is great, though. Neil Peart is truly the best drummer in the universe.

I love the show Portlandia on IFC and I found the band that did their intro song. Really cool video of them snorkeling in what must be the Caribbean, probably Mexico because I recognize one of the damsels I've seen in that area.

If you liked the Fig Dish song at all, you will like Caviar (( granted I am biased, since they used to hang out in the bar that I used to manage, oh so many years ago ))
