I just got a treo for verizon and want to know too:D

If you have Verizon then you can probably just make a 30 sec. ringtone. It has to be MP3 to work. Some Verizon phones can only handle a 20 sec. ringtone. Once you have your tone that you want open your email acct. and send it to your phone with this # (example)2131234567@vzwpix.com. you have to use your cell # and then vzwpix.com. When you get your message open it and save it as a sound. If everything goes correctly then it should appear on your "my ringtones" hope this helps. if it doesn't help when I get home ill send you some web sites you can check out.

I have custom full length (3-4 min) mp3/ripped songs from cd's as ringtones on my treo 650. I have it setup for different songs per person, voicemail, text messages.

I used a program for the treo called RingO. You install the program on your phone and just select the mp3 you want. I copy my mp3's from my computer to the SD card.

LMAO... dude the treo are not the phone to have... get a dash dude... check the comparisons between the dash and treo... The Treo...talk about a phone that will do almost nothing except retrieve ur emails... This Dash is definitely a Motorola Q AND Treo killer wrapped in one. Sporting a 320-by-240-pixel display a 201 MHz OMAP850 processor from TI, 64 MB worth of INTERNAL RAM and 128 MB of ROM, Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE along with 802.11b/g...i have so many FULL LENGTH videos on my phone (maybe 4.5 hours worth)... over 5 hours worth of trance + another 3 hours worth of hip hop just on my MicroSD card alone, not to mention countless Random videos made without limit from the phone itself ... AND it connects DIRECTLY to my comp so i can drag and drop files just as if it was a removable hard drive...
DASH > Treo
