OT: where in Miami to buy a GOOD beer?

It's in NMB, so it's a bit of a trek, but without a doubt in my mind, it is the best alcohol retailer on earth as far as selection, and their prices are not bad either.

Total Wine and Sprits is the best. Milams Market on US1 has some very good beers, I also live on Brickell, so Milams would be the closest to get a good beer, but I would make the trek to Paradise, I mean Total Wine and Spirits. What kind of beer are you looking for? I picked up about 30 different Liters from Total Wine last week, a bunch of Belgian-style Ales, some good collaberations, etc. I'm a huge fan of Belgian beers, I've tried more than 600 different Belgian beers, and even Germany can't compare to Belgium. If you are looking for a good bar, there are plenty: the Yardhouse, The Abbey(one of my favs), the Livingroom, etc. The popularity of good beer has really exploded in the last few years, I love the fact that every bar has at least 20 different beers, compare to only 4 or 5 beers 10 years ago. Sorry, I started to ramble one, I just love beer.
