i have been waiting for this fight for a long time and its a few weeks away.

i am a big oscar fan and support him but manny has so much heart. i know their is a big height differance and i just think manny is gonna catch oscar with his left hook and oscar is not going to be able to handle it. i know its gonna be a great fight though. rooting for oscar cus manny took out all the mexican fighters but i think he is gonna take to oscar too. lol anyhow, i guess i am being biased cus i am mexican american but i still give manny allot of props and i think he will win. ahaha i guess i root just for the fight.

Personally I want Pacman to win. Oscar is a great fighter but it will be better for the future of boxing if Pacman wins. If he pulls it off we will see additional fights with Hatton, and even possibly Mayweather. It sucks that Oscar only wants to fight a bunch of little guys (one to three weight classes below him). I just want to see Oscar take a risk. I do have to give him credit for taking on Hopkins (even though he laid down to avoid being KO'd)! Bottom line, Oscar should be fighting Margarito!

This is a fight between WBC's Superwelterweight vs a Lightweight.
The only reason for this 2 superstar fighters to fight is that it will bring revenue and intrigue a dying boxing sport that MMA has taken over.... Whatever the outcome, going with the underdog, PACMAN!!

Not true. If you look at their weights right now, Manny weighs more than Oscar. It looks to be a good one. Got to go for the Phillipines national hero!

I'm impartial to both fighters, but I don't see Pacquiao winning. It's a horrible match up for Manny, but his handlers can only see dollar signs.

Aside from the physical advantage (4" height and 5" reach advantage for Oscar), there's also a sizable difference in boxing skills. Pacquiao is the mirror image of Hatton, with their forward/bulldog approach. I don't hold Oscar's boxing skills in high regard, but it's more advanced than Manny's.

As far as 'heart' goes, Oscar's proven himself quite often in the past, against much higher caliber opposition. He's tasted the power of some big fighters, too. If you look closer at his losses, you'll realize that they were to fighters who were superior tacticians in the ring.

Unfortunately, Manny doesn't have that advantage.
