OT : Who needs some compact fluorescent light bulb's?

For the people that don't have compact fluorescent light bulb's at the house. Call 311 and they will give them out for FREE! No scam or anything I just saw it on the news right now. C'mon guys I'm a tree hugger so lets save some electricity.

Advertisement in today's paper says home depot is giving them away today too.

Um, 311 only in Chicago. Its the same as when there is a death from a fire and they advertise free smoke detectors at the firehouses. They give us 5 detectors every few months to give away.
