OT- Windows Vista Home Premium

I hope this isn't against any sort of rules.. If it is, please delete.

My harddrive crashed yesterday and now I have to start all over. I can't find a recovery cd anywhere (I swear I never got it with the computer, as HP puts the recovery information and a partitioned part of the harddrive). Anyway, I don't really need that anyway cause I want to start from scratch and not load all the extra junk that HP puts on there. So I need to find someone with a Window Vista Home Premium cd that I can borrow to load onto my computer. I have my serial for the LICENSED copy that I purchased with the computer, I just need the software to reload it on my harddrive. If anybody has one please let me know so I can come grab it real quick and will drop it back off tomorrow. Thanks guys!

It may still not work with your licence key from your computer, as your key is for an OEM copy of windows. I know XP used to have problems not accepting OEM keys with an original disk, but they may have fixed that with Vista. Good luck!

i have the real xp disk to reformat my comp if u want to downgrade to that.
