OT- woot off going on today

It's a gimmick site. They sell one thing a day. Sale lasts until midnight or until they run out. Occassionally they have a Woot-Off where they sell a lot of things in one day. The duration of a woot-off lasts for 12 hours or until the item is sold out.

Depends on the woot-off... I've seen them go for days. I'd say it depends on how much crap they intend to dump off on the consumer. :lol:

Not always... and if you follow the forums you'll see people talking about it. Also, be on the lookout for repeat items. They tend to run the same thing a few times until they get rid of it so if you miss it the first time, it may come around again. You'll start to notice that Woot-Offs are a compilation of new stuff and stuff that they couldn't get rid of on the daily Woots.

Ah yes, the elusive 'Bag of Crap'. Good luck with that! They're always tough to get. Just like the screaming Woot monkey, those are also pretty tough to get when they come around.

Make sure you spin through the forums and blog postings. I especially liked Woot's visit to CES last year where they had the "Items most likely to end up in a bag of crap" section. :lol:
