I love your tank! How often and how much do you have to feed that many corals?
Thanks I'm glad you like it , the only corals we feed are the ones that need to be fed to survive like our dendro colonies
Everybody else gets by on photosynthesis and nutrients available in the water column

Wow, amazing build! TOTALLY jealous of your sump, I want one! lol I'm getting ready to put together my 93 gallon cube and I'm just not happy with the sump I bought, but I'm so limited on space under the stand that I'm really stuck with it unless I go with something custom. Got any pics of it since it's been up and running? What's in the fuge?

After I moved and had to shut down my 225 reef, I've been wanting to set another one up. All the while, the ol' lady was complaining of how expensive it is to maintain a reef tank (inhabitants, supplements, electricity, water....blah blah blah). Well I finally have a little 40 gallon going and she complained as I lost one fish. Kudos to you and your wife for both sharing this hobby together.

I'll see what I can pull off I've tak pics of the sump sumo running but nothing as of lately
I work as an aquarium designer , having a small space doesn't necessarily mean your limited it just mans we have to be creative on your space , think outside the traditional styles.
My sump if I remember correctly is around 28"l x 19"w x 16h
In it I have
Drain chamber from display
Filter sock
Refugium
Skimmer section
Return section
Ato reservoir
Built in dosing chambers for Alk,cal,mg and vinegar
With designs of past I'd be lucky to get a fuge , skimmer and return pump in there
Pm me if you want help to re-design your sump I can get you a drawing you can take somewhere to get custom built or if your handy with glass or acrylic to DIY

Yeah she's the best were already talking about the design for the upgrade when the time comes
Picture island drop off tank , basically a drop down style tank with more waterfalls added and island that hangs over the "drop" in the aquarium
the shape isn't set n stone be it we do a standard drop down , " L " style drop down or dual drops

Hey guys
Update time it's def been a while and the tank has seen some changes we decided beginning of summer to go full zoanthid and mushroom dominant with some cloves mixed in so we sold or traded off most our lps and sps and added a bunch more zoas and shrooms
We had to shut the waterfall off on the left side it developed a pin hole size leak where the saltwater ate through the mortar and soaked into the foam I chased the leak for a while but eventually said I'll shut it off and fix it later so it's been dry all summer but our island is still running it's rivers and pools
Tank seen its summer lazys like all but last week I spent some time fixing it up so we took a little video now that summer is winding down we will update more often and get better pics as well I still have many more zoanthids and shrooms to add but I'm doing it slowly polyp by polyp lol
