Overflow Rate for 170G !@!@!

What should the flow rate for a 170g tank? WlLL thls 1600 GPH enough for a flow system?

at 170 gallons and your pumps going 1600 gph thats nearly cycling your water ten times per hour depending on other outside variables display tank waterflow powerheads or overflow whatever method preferrably both would probably suffice

If I remember correctly the flow through the sump should be 3-5 times your tank volume so that your skimmer, fuge... get the time to work on the water before it's pumped back. still I guess this depends on how big yoru skimmer is...
total tank flow (adding pumps in the tank) will be much bigger and will depend on the corals you intend to keep as well as how big your corals are and howmuch rock you have in there which will decrease circulation...
