Whats the best way to prime a u tube overflow?

use a little bit of airline tubing... place it up into the u and suck a little it will start....

or you can use a powerhead also

option 1 seems the easiest to me

I've always just stuck an airline tube into it and sucked, but I also heard you can put it upside down in water and then rubber band some cling wrap over each side. Then, put it in the overflowbox and remove the rubber bands.
