Ok well I had pictures from the side and now I have the overhead pics. There are a lot of them so I hope I can post them all.

well there were 18 the other day but I just added 3 more. I will let them get settled in before i take any pics.


The tank is about 76 gallons with another 10 in the sump.

It is my plate coral. He is normally brown but if I put him right under the light he turns bright pink.

Hey Nice collection of clams!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just make sure you have enough Nitrate in your system to feed all of them. The 9 inch Derasa will strip your tank of all accumulated Nitrate.
Keep an eye on them for fading in the Mantle's, this is caused by lack of Nitrate/ Nitrogen. The symbiotic algae in the clam's mantle use Nitrate/ Nitrogen as a fertilizer.
I keep a good supply of reef fish and use a wet/dry in conjunction with a DSB(deep sand bed) to keep a constant supply of Nitrate at low levels. If you get a chance read the book Giant Clams by Daniel Knop, it goes through all the requirements that clams need.
