1) It's not necessary to rinse the mysis
2) preferred method with flat packs is letting the fish eat directly off the frozen piece, directly ingesting a high percentage of the Omega 3 & Omega 6s.

When cubes or mysis chunks are thawed in a cup of fresh or saltwater, it is probably best to pour off most of the surfactant oils, as they typically go over the overflow, shut down the protein skimmer (if using one) and do not get into the fish. This is esp important with smaller nano reefs that continue to trend w high popularity.
